Temur Ketsbaia will hold Press conference at the Hotel Bomond Garden on 5th of September,

 

UEFA President Michel Platini has paid official visit to Georgia on 9-10 August, 2010. He was accompanied by Mr. Theodor Theodoridis, UEFA Deputy General Secretary; Mr. Thierry Favre Stadia&National Associations Manager and Mr. Jean-Louis Genovesi.

 
 XVIII GFF Conference will be held at 11 a.m. on 15th of July. There are 11 issues to be considered in the agenda. One of the important in the list is presentation of the previous 6 months work of Georgian Football Federation, which will be presented to the invited guests and delegates by Zviad Sichinava, GFF President.
 

Nikoloz Avaliani, the Deputy State Minister on the Diaspora Issues and Zviad Sichinava, President of Georgian Football Federation will sign the memorandum of mutual activity at the meeting hall of the State Chancellery at 11.a.m. on 1st of July, 2010.

 

Zviad Sichinava, the President of Georgian Football Federation met the Presidents of the Regional Football Federations. They discussed the problems in the children’s football, the coordinate research of the ways to carry out the future plans of the upcoming football season and other current issues.

 

The tournament "School ball 2010" was finished with the victory of Zugdidi Public school #4 in Batumi on 27th of June, 2010.

Bolnisi public school #1 and Zugdidi public school #4 contested in the final of the tournament. The match ended with the victory of Zugdidi Public School #4, with the score 3:0.

 

U15 and U17 Teams of Georgia have left the International Football Tournament held in Ibiza, Spanish Island in quarter-finals.

Koba Jorjikashvili’s team lost with the minimal score to RCD Mallorca. Gela Shekiladze’s players finished the match with the same score against the Spanish "Gandia" and left the tournament.

 

U15 Team of Georgia won three matches successively in sub-group.

Gela Shekiladze’s team won 1:0 to the local Ibiza FC Portman. Giorgi Khorkheli scored the winning goal.

 
2010-06-24 18:50 - School ball 2010

The final phase of School ball 2010 have launched with a solemn ceremony in Batumi, Ajara on 22nd of June, 2010.

16 teams of different public schools are participating in the tournament. The final match and rewarding ceremony will take place on 27th of June.

 

U15 and U17 National Teams of Georgia will leave for Ibiza Islands, Spain on 22nd of June, 2010. Koba Jorjikashvili’s and Gela Shekiladze’s players will compete for the Ibiza Cup from 24th to 27th of June, together with 16 other teams.

 

Awarding Ceremony of the winners of the tournaments held under the wardship of Abkhazian Football Federation: 3rd "Imedi” league of Georgian Championship, Open Championship of Abkhazia, Tournaments named after Jiuli Shartava, Georgian national hero and Vladimir Barkaia, Georgian legendary football player will take place at the cultural centre "Muza” at 5 p.m. on 21st of June, 2010. Awarding Ceremony will be held with the scenario "Abkhazia is our homeland”.

 

The memorandum of mutual activity between Ilia State University and Georgian Football Federation will be signed at Ilia State University (Block A, lecture room 101, Chavchavadze Avenue 32) at 1 a.m. today on 18th of June, 2010.

 

The memorandum of mutual activity between the Office of State Ministry on the Diaspora Issues and Georgian Football Federation is about to be signed. The purpose of the memorandum is to search for young talents living abroad (age of 15, 16, 17) and give them a chance to play for Georgian National Football Team of respective age category.

 

Zviad Sichinava, President of Georgian Football Federation and Revaz Arveladze, General Secretary of GFF will return from South Africa today. The members of Georgian Football Federation attended FIFA Congress and Opening Ceremony of FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010.

 

Baqar Jordania, Head of the GFF Licensing Department of the Football Clubs, Alexander Khomeriki, the expert of the same department and Nino Sordia, President of Women Football Federation visited the west part of Georgia. They visited the Football Clubs participating in the Supreme League of the Georgian Championship, situated in the west part of Georgia.

 

Regular meeting of GFF Executive Committee was held at the Conference hall of MIkheil Meskhi Stadium at 2 a.m. on 4th of June. GFF Executive Committee made the following decisions on the scheduled issues:
