UEFA Disciplinary Committee will consider the matter of seven fans, who jumped out into the pitch during the match Georgia VS Germany and will bring in its final verdict.
The 1st Georgian TV channel interviewed Mr. Zviad Sichinava, GFF President: “The match delegate has already submitted his report to the UEFA Disciplinary Committee and, probably, a considerable monetary penalty will be imposed. Besides, the next match may be held behind the closed doors. We discussed the aforesaid matter with the officials of the Ministry of Interior and they promised to take respective measures to prevent such cases in the future. Our fans wish to show their support to their beloved team in that harmful way, but, following the UEFA Regulations it is considered as a breaking of rules of the game”.
There is a chance that the players who made contacts with such fans would be fined too.
