The Georgian Football Federation president Levan Kobiashvili and the Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Tariel Khechikashvili visited the training base of the youth football school “Olimpiki” together with the founder of the school Karlo Mchedlidze.

Following a government ruling, private ownership rights to the football school’s land plot were officially handed to “Olimpiki.” The school administration is planning to implement significant infrastructural projects in the future, which includes installing artificial and grass pitches, as well as building a 2000-capacity stadium and a medical centre. It is also planned to build a hotel for young footballers.

Football school “Olimpiki” has been operating since 1997, and up to 200 youths of various ages are training there at present.
