The Georgian Football Federation organized a seminar at Hualing Hotel on 1 August on the issues of supporter liaison and security.
UEFA Supporter Liaison Officer Project consultant Stuart Dykes told attendees about the SLO project, talked about security issues, and shared his experiences from numerous European countries.
“The main reason for me being here is to talk about the role of the supporter liaison officer, which is a UEFA requirement and one of the financial fair play club licensing regulations. My role is to work with national associations, to help them and their clubs understand what a supporter liaison officer is, and what the advantages are for them to have such person. It is quite a new role, and there is a need for information about it. That is the reason for my visit,” stated Stuart Dykes.
The seminar was attended by club directors, supporter liaison officers and security officers from Umaghlesi Liga clubs.
