2026/2027 UEFA Men's and Women's Club Licensing Results

In accordance with the UEFA club licensing regulations for participation in UEFA men's and women's club competitions, the 2026/2027 UEFA licensing process will involve the 2025 Erovnuli Liga clubs and the top 4 clubs/teams of the 2025 Women's League.

The UEFA licensing process began in December last year, upon the conclusion of the 2025 national league season, and included meetings and intensive consultations with clubs. On 1 May 2026, the UEFA Club Licensing Committee held a meeting with club representatives and licensing experts, reviewed the license applications, and made the relevant decisions, namely:

The 2026/2027 UEFA men's club license was obtained by the following 6 clubs:

FC Iberia 1999 Tbilisi*

FC Dila Gori*

FC Torpedo Kutaisi*

FC Dinamo Tbilisi*

• FC Gagra

• FC Dinamo Batumi

 

The following 4 clubs were denied the 2026/2027 UEFA men's club license:

FC Samgurali Tskaltubo

• FC Telavi

• FC Gareji Sagarejo

• FC Kolkheti 1913 Poti

 

The 2026/2027 UEFA women's club license was obtained by the following 2 clubs:

WFC Nike Tbilisi*

WFC Lanchkhuti

 

The following 2 clubs were denied the 2026/2027 UEFA women's club license:

• FC Kvartali Tbilisi – Women

• FC Elita Tbilisi

The * symbol denotes the five clubs that, based on the sporting results of the 2025 national league season, have earned the right to participate in the 2026/2027 European tournaments. However, obtaining a UEFA club license (issued by the Georgian Football Federation) is a prerequisite for admission to UEFA club tournaments. In a positive development, all five clubs successfully passed the UEFA licensing process!
