Another good transfer for Dila Gori: Irakli Zaria joined the team.
26 year old semi-defender, three times Georgia champion: two times in the composition of Dinamo Tbilisi team and one time champion while his play in Zestafoni, 2 times Cup winner and one time Super Cup winner.
Dzaria was a captain of Dynamo Tbilisi team but his contract was expired this winter. So, he became a free agent.
Three weeks ago Zaria was on trial in FC Perm Amkar. There was a chance for him to stay in the team but he was injured and had to go back home.
The information about Zaria was submitted to us by Ucha Sosiashvili, FC Dila coach:
“Yes, Zaria is our last bargain. Several days ago we purchased a forward, Mikei Gorelishvili and a semi-defender, Lasha Gvalia. As far as Zaria is concerned he is an experience player and also a member of the National team”
Zaria played 13 matches in the current season and kicked 3 goals. He was invited 7 times to play for the National team, but scored only 1 goal in the away match against Denmark in 2013 which ended by the defeat of our team.
Dila Gori considerably reinforced its team and if we take into consideration the fact that there is only one point difference with FC Dinamo Tbilisi there is a real chance that Ucha Sosiashvili’s team may actually qualify for the title of the Georgia champion.
Dila was gone to Turkey at dawn where they are supposed to have 4 matches against:
- Shirak Armenia
- SuissYoung Boys
- Ukranian Hoverla
- Polish Iaglinia (where Nika Zalamidze is playing)
