We received interesting news from Turkey. 19 years old Georgian defender, Lasha Dvali from Reding, moved to Turkish FC Kasimpasa. Lasha is one of the promising Georgian football players and the Turkish league is on the sixth place in the rating of the best European Leagues. As you know Shota Arveladze is the head coach of the team and this fact increases the relevance of the aforesaid transfer.
- I played all matches in the Latvian FC Skonto without any substitutes and then I returned to Tbilisi and trained individually. On January 3 I went to Reding where I had been training together with the team within one month. They suggested me to join FC Pogonis in Poland, but this deal was cancelled. That is why I was glad to learn about my transfer to FC Kasimpasa.
- What kind of contract did you sign with FC Kasimpasa?
- It is a four months loan and in case the club is interested in my performance they can buy me from Reding. If all goes well we may talk about two or three years’ contract. So, everything depends on my decision. The Turkish Championship is organized on a high professional level and it cannot be compared with the Latvian one. Despite the fact that I arrived just a couple of days before I could feel that people here take football close to their hearts and the transfer in question is a step forward for me. I am glad to be here and I will do my best to develop my skills because here they have all possibilities for that.
- Do you think that the final word on your loan was made by Shota Arveladze?
- I am sure Shota will evaluate my actual worth and performance. He is an impartial person besides the fact that he is a prominent football player and a fair and professional coach
- What are your first impressions about the club?
- You know FC Kasimpasa has one of the best football bases which meet international standards and, of course, it is much better than they have in Reding. Here they have a friendly and healthy atmosphere. They take football close to their hearts. Now all depends upon me and as I have already told you I will do my best to further develop my skills and habits.
- What are your plans about Georgian National Team? When are you going to put on the National team’ jersey again?
- The main point is that I am ready for that and I will apply my every effort to do so.
After Lasha we interviewed the head coach of the team. People say that Shota had a discussion with Tamaz Pertia, head coach of te FC Sconto about Lasha and received a very positive feedback from him.
- There will be no limit for the number of legionnaires per team in Turkey beginning from the next season and it will stimulate the activity on the football market. I think Lasha is a good choice for the club and it is also positive for Lasha because here he will have an opportunity to develop his skills and habits –Shota said.
- How can you characterize the club’s debutant?
- He controls the pitch and is good at playing with his head. I like the players of such a style. I invited him to my team and that means that he is a player of a big potential. Let us live and see.
Lasha Dvali started his career at the Gubaz Dolidze’s team. He was a member of U17 and U19 teams and played in the finals of the European championship in both age categories - in Slovenia under the supervision of Vasili Maisuradze and in Lithiania under the supervision of Gia Tsetsadze. Transfers of such kind are not a common practice in our football and all our football fans and community will watch attentively this football player’s performance.
